Vasquez Rocks in Aqua Dulce
This is a video of my visit to Vasquez Rocks with a 4K Drone. I came back to Vasquez Rocks where Kirk fought that Gorn thing or whatever. It’s the episode called Arena. I have always been fascinated with this place because I saw it on Star Trek when I was a kid. Kirk climbs this big rock with a sharp incline. He rolls a boulder over the edge. I remember wanting to go there to see this rock feature.
I flew around the main featured rock. Studios are always filming here. My previous visit, a movie was being shot, So they will ask folks to visit surrounding area. Vasquez Rocks is 932 acres, so really no problem.
Our geology class plan a field trip to examine the sediment and layered rocks uplifted by the San Andreas Faultline. The Pacific Crest Trail crosses thru the park.
