Travelling east from Barstow on Interstate 40 – exit at Essex Road go north 10 miles and turn right on Black Canyon RD.
Camping at Hole in the Wall Campground is 12.00 dollars or 6.00 for America the Beautiful Senior Pass. Camping is first come first served. There are thirty-five campsites with pit toilets nearby, trash receptacles, fire rings, picnic tables, potable water, dump station, bring your own firewood and lastly there are no utility hook-ups. RV accessible and tent camping are available.
Favorite Trail is the Ring Loop Trail. Moderate until the rings so you must climb or turn back. It is not that hard but takes effort to climb the rings.
